WAYSIDE INN ELLICOTT CITY, MARYLAND 

The Wayside Inn Spirit Investigation in Ellicott City Maryland was another fantastic Investigation. My friend and I went to Maryland in 2008 and stayed at a beautiful Historic Property called the Wayside Inn, built in 1780. The Inn Keepers were David and Sue Balderson and at the time we stayed there they were the only ones in the house that afternoon and evening.

They allowed my friend and I to Spirit investigate the whole house that night. I would be drawn to the back yard of the home and in taking the first photo at the back of the home I concentrated on windows and that is where I received the Spirit images I will present to you next.

When I enlarged the image and lightened it up that is when I noticed the females head looking out the window. Now I asked the Inn Keepers and they told me that it was not Sue looking out the window that night and was not home at the time that the image was captured.

Also she would of basically had to of been on her knees to do this. They went on to tell me that over the year’s people that have stayed at the Inn have seen the Ghost of a Maid that used to be in the home. Was this partially formed female’s head that spirit of the woman who had been seen by guests over the years.

The upper window to me is very interesting because in the lower left corner of the window in my opinion I can see a man’s face and it looks like he is wearing a Old type military hat. In the end the Wayside Inn Spirit Investigation was so much fun as the Balderson’s made us feel so welcome into their wonderful home with such a rich history.

WAYSIDE INN SPIRIT INVESTIGATION STARTS

It is my opinion that the right side of her face, and top of her head was not fully formed when the photo was captured.

BLACK AND WHITE IMAGE OF WHAT I SEE IS A FEMALE’S HEAD LOOKING OUT THE WINDOW AS I TOOK THE PHOTO. SHE IS EITHER A YOUNG GIRL OR AN ADULT WHO WAS KNEELING ON THE FLOOR, BECAUSE THAT WINDOW IS ONLY AROUND 3 FEET HIGH OFF THE FLOOR. 

I have seen other people’s photos of the back of the Wayside Inn at night and the upstairs window is not as cluttered with images as mine is. If you look good, you can see the heads looking out.

The smaller this image is will show the image much clearer. I can see a man with an old style large hat on his head. Above him looks like a female head as well.

IMAGE COMPARISONS WITH HATS

It is said, though I have no proof that George Washington was supposed to of stayed at the Wayside Inn. Notice the hat that George Washington has on his head in the image. If you look in the upstairs window some may see a mans head with the large hat on his head that looks close, but in my opinion not the same that George Washington had in the image. I am not saying the image is George Washington, but I can see the head and hat clearly in the window and there were a few High hats worn my Military and perhaps regular civilians, during the 1700’s and 1800’s.

EVP INSIDE THE INN

Dave and his wife were so kind to allow my friend and I the run of the upper floors to do some investigations. My friend captured an image outside the window which looked like a cat and we tried to debunk it to see if there was anything that could of looked like it was that and we couldn’t.
